The Evanston Art Center is proud to present the 8th annual Winter Arts and Crafts Expo. Winter Expo features one-of-a-kind pieces of work by over 100 selected artisans. Arts and crafts offered include original, handmade works of jewelry, ceramics, fiber, metal, glass, painting, photography, mixed-media, and more. All proceeds from the Expo will benefit the ongoing exhibition, education, and outreach programs at the EAC. The Winter Expo is the perfect opportunity for families to shop for everyone on their holiday gift list.
Winter Expo will be held from November 20th - December 19th, 2010 at the EAC. The Expo event preview party will be held on November 19th.
Shopping Hours: 10am-4pm, Mondays – Saturdays (closed Thanksgiving) 12pm-4pm, Sundays

We also celebrate the 150th birthday of Gustav Mahler with his nostalgically beautiful Fourth Symphony. Michelle Areyzaga sings the soprano solo in its folksong finale depicting a child’s view of heaven. Gwyneth Walker’s song cycle, The Promised Land, which was composed for both Ms. Areyzaga and the ESO, also concludes with a vision of heaven. We are proud to present this exciting world premiere.
